Terms of use

Last updated October 30, 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of Daily Cursive at dailycursive.com (“Daily Cursive”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. Using Daily Cursive

Daily Cursive is a free tool for practising cursive handwriting. You may use it for your own learning and teaching. Please don't:

We may change, pause or stop any part of the site at any time.

3. Privacy

You can use Daily Cursive without an account. Signing in with Google is optional, and keeps your progress on every device. What Daily Cursive keeps, and why, is set out in our privacy policy, which is part of these terms.

4. Content and licences

The site's design, text and code belong to Daily Cursive. The letters are based on the Hershey fonts, designed by Dr. A. V. Hershey at the U.S. National Bureau of Standards, and are drawn with Hanzi Writer (MIT License).

5. Accuracy

We work to get letter shapes and stroke orders right, but mistakes are possible, and cursive styles differ between schools and countries. Daily Cursive is a practice aid, not an authority. Found a mistake? Tell us at [email protected].

6. No warranty

Daily Cursive is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't promise that it will always be available, free of errors, or that your progress will never be lost.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Daily Cursive will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the site.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new terms.
