How to write “I love you” in cursive
“I love you” in cursive is 3 words, 8 letters, joined into flowing lines. Here it is on handwriting paper, then letter by letter.
Tips for writing I love you in cursive
- Start with the capital: I. Cursive capitals are the letters that differ most between styles; this is the Hershey script's version.
- After o and v the joining stroke leaves from the midline, not the baseline: the pen stays high and swings straight into the next letter. It's the join most often written wrong.
- The tall letters (l) reach up toward the top line; every other lowercase letter stays between the dashed midline and the baseline.
- The y drops below the baseline and loops back up to join the next letter.
